“Great place to stay and was in just the right location for me. The beach access was the icing on the cake. Would also like to mention the neat little cottages or motel style rooms were really cheerfull with their yellow trim. And finally I have to bring up the fact there was a actual shower curtain liner in the shower. I could not tell you when the last time I seen one of them actually being used. The place I'm at now doesn't.”

“On a normal day, I would harp about the dated rooms and property. But here's the thing - The room was surprisingly clean, the location is nothing short of perfect, and the price (comparatively) reasonable. On top of that, renovations are underway. And what I saw looked great! Hopefully the place remains affordable. “We felt right at home in this house. The key pad was fussy when we first arrived, and VRBO's app did not help us reach the host...not her fault. “Our stay was perfect. The house was clean, well presented, and nicely decorated. If you are visiting the area, this would be a great place to stay. Close to groceries, gas, restaurants, and coffee shops. The drive to the Porkies is easy and convenient. Lodging is more expensive as you get closer to the park but it isn't better than this house in Ontonagon. We had more room, more comfort than any of the places we stayed previously on M-64. We highly recommend it.”
