“Our family had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin in a gated community! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring and enjoying the very beautiful and quiet lake. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and our stay. We especially appreciated being able to include usage of the grill……

“The cabin was excellent. Matches the pictures if not better. Cabin is in very good shape with lots of extras including those blueberry bushes which the entire group enjoyed.Road into area is windy and gravel for quite a stretch but a Toyota Camry had no issues.Do understand that cell phone coverage isn't just spotty at the cabin but starts 15-20 minutes out but honestly isn't an issue once you get wifi on-site. Wifi was weak at times but once again not a showstopper.”

“Windy Hill Lodge is an absolute paradise in the mountains! The cabin, and all of its amenities, were absolutely top-notch and the process of checking in couldn't have been easier! I don't know if there's better views anywhere in North Carolina! We enjoyed Windy Hill Lodge so much that we never even went into town… Just stayed and enjoyed the views and the great breeze!We cannot wait to return next year!”

“Remarkable stay in well-appointed stay with family and pet. The setting for the water garden to the outdoor fire pit and two open decks and hot tub to the tasteful furnishing fully equipped was a delight. “This house has great potential, however the owner has it available for rent when there are numerous issues that need to be fixed. We were notified about two weeks ahead of time that the heat was broken in part of the house. The owner told me if I wanted to cancel, they would understand. Cancelling my rental would mean cancelling our whole Thanksgiving family vacation. Since we had already exhausted our search for another house, we decided to buy a couple space heaters and keep the rental plan.……
