“Lovely location, very well appointed rooms Good breakfast ”

“We were sleeping in a separate little house on the large estate. It was clean and spacious for 3 people. But the reason for only 3 stars: super loud music (the equivalent of a music festival…) on Saturday morning from a barn with cross-fit sessions…; multiple woodlice in the rooms (probably because of the house’s location near horses); fertiliser spread against the building (dry pallets, not fresh…) by tractor working on the adjacent field; very small washing basin without space for toiletries……

“We stayed in a twin room and the beds were very soft and uncomfortable. The towels were thin and scratchy. The skeleton key to our room made it very hard to open the room. The bathroom sink drained slow, the shower door kept going off its rail and the hot water took awhile to heat up (although there was a note about it in the room). Nice enough place but it didn’t work well for us. Thank goodness we only reserved one night.”
