Lack of amenities
The property itself is beautiful. A couple of points that you need to address: Microwave has a lot of rust in it. We could not use. No shower Curtain in upstairs guest room No washclothes No hand towels No kitchen towels TV firestick in master upstair bedroom did not work at all. All of the remotes are in desperate need of batteries TV downstairs kept going in and out

Clean and Comfortable
This is a very comfortable, clean and well kept home, perfect for a family or two. There is not much to do in the immediate neighborhood - the beach by the house is dangerous for little kids to go in the water and there is lots of tar on the sand that sticks and stains. But the Oxnard harbour nearby (a 5 minute drive) is nice for a stroll and a quick bite (we liked Honey Cup). Nearby Ventura (15 minute drive) is lovely, has a number of nice beaches, good downtown shops and eateries, and a lot of beautiful hiking and biking trails for all skill levels. This home was very comfortable and a good base to explore the area.

Fun Get Away
This was a perfect Covid get away. The house was located close to everything we needed. The yard was secure for our puppy. Short walk down a super cute path to the beach was so nice. The house could use some small upkeep but it was just perfect for a get away.

Perfect Beach Rental!
This house was a perfect rental for a beach getaway! Beach was only a 3 minute walk and you had the option of walking through the street or through a beautiful path in the backyard. It was our first time going to thr beach in Oxnard.. We usually go to Ventura and we were impressed to see that the beach was clean huge and open, not packed at all. Inside of the house was clean and beautiful. Not as big as I had pictured but still beautiful! Kitchen had all necessities for cooking and garage had plenty of toys and items to take with you to use. I would definifely stay here again and would recommend this place to others!

Family Beach House
Lovely little home, very clean, short walk to beach down a cute path. Well stocked with necessities and very comfortable. great backyard fire ring for roasting marshmallows. The app was not an effective way to get questions answered, (I couldn't find the key to start the fire and wrote via the app, but did not get a reply. I did eventually find it myself though.)We had a lovely time. The only downside was that there is no AC, and there were no fans either, (as promised on the website. My request via the app for fans also unanswered.) We would have left the windows open for cooler air at night, (it was hot during the day), but the air quality was so bad due to wildfires throughout California that we were advised by health officials to not do that. Other than that glitch, it was a great little house with plenty of room for a family and lots to do. The TV/DVD system worked really well, unlike some other VRBO places we've stayed. We would definitley come back to this house.

Overall the house was perfect for our family. Very spacious and accommodating for our needs. Location. Was great also. Loved our morning walks on the beach. Grew up in the area.and is exactly how I remember!
