Our stay was otherwise very good, and the hotel staff were professional and extremely helpful. Unfortunately, the valet parking experience was alarming and unacceptable.
The valet service is outsourced and appears to be managing two hotels at once, which resulted in chaos. When we requested our vehicle, we went to the pickup area before receiving the text that it was ready. By chance, we checked our car and found it wide open, with no attendant present and no keys in sight. Even more concerning, the valet station had been left completely unattended, and the lock box containing all vehicle keys was left open, allowing anyone to access keys to any vehicle. This is a serious security failure and a major safety concern. Hotel staff were very helpful and took the situation seriously. They attempted to contact the valet service using the limited phone numbers available, and one staff member personally walked over to locate an attendant because none were present. Their response was commendable, though their ability to intervene was clearly limited. When the valet attendant finally returned, they could not provide any information on how to lodge a formal complaint or escalate the issue. At $49 per day, this is a premium service, and I expect far better security, professionalism, and accountability. As a Hilton guest, I also expect strong oversight of outsourced services to protect guests and uphold the brand’s reputation.This experience was concerning and should be addressed urgently
