"Our stay was nothing short or spectacular. Communication with Chris was prompt & informative before our arrival. He met us at a restaurant near the house so we could follow him. He explained any details he thought would help make our stay more enjoyable. DON'T let any previous review about the road dissuade you from renting this house. You need a 4WD with good clearance. Our Suzuki Jimny was perfect. It had been 30 years since I drove a car in 4WD, and I had no problems. After the first time up and down the mountain & getting used to it, we even drove down to dinner three evenings. One of those evenings it was raining. Don’t worry about the road…it’s fine. One day a tayra crossed the road in front of us. The drive up or down the road is less than 10 minutes. The view is absolutely stunning…from everywhere. From the pool, the hot tub, both bedrooms, and the master shower. Omg...the shower. I don’t have the words. One of our five days, we never even left the property. We opened the back door panels during the day and slept with the bedroom doors open & screens closed. We never turned the AC. The house has the finest high end appliances, along with very nice dishes, glassware, utensils, etc. Anything you would need to cook any kind of meal. We saw scarlet macaws, toucans, monkeys. A coati walked in front of the pool, around the corner, and looked into the shower! Give yourself and loved ones a trip you’ll talk about for years to come. Rent this house!"

"We had the best time in Costa Rica! This house is exactly as described, however, the view! The View is way better in person. Everything about our stay was smooth and so easy. Mark gives a very robust document of tips, directions, information, recommended excursions and so much more. I planned everything based on Mark’s rec. We did snorkeling at cano island, a Jungle ATV tour which included a stop at a coffee farm and the horseback riding to Nauyaca falls. These were fantastic trips with guides that not only did their job but talked to you and got to know you! The Costa Ricans are so proud of their beautiful country and want to share it with you! We hiked at La Cosinga Lodge and saw monkeys. We managed to hit Playa Arco and the Whale tail at low tide- highly recommend both! Last but not least we stopped in to see Playa Ballena, Playa Pinuelas, and Playa Ventana - all at high tide but got to see three different and beautiful beaches!"

"A stay at Casa Rio Sierpe is a ‘must do’ if you are traveling to Costa Rica. We were met by friendly Simone who will greeted us when we arrived and was always available to help with any questions or arrangements we had during stay. Our wonderful guide Ruben was at our beck and call and guided us through many of the available activities. There are no shortage of adventures to keep guests busy. The accommodations are private, clean and very relaxing. You’ll want to take some time to enjoy the beautiful deck. And finally I would absolutely recommend bringing in Dolly to cook your meals. A wonderful woman and an amazing cook!"
