A beautiful place with mountains, rock formations and a river. Even though it was a foggy and cloudy winter day, it felt magical to stand on a rock, looking down the drop towards the river. Stunning! Blyde River Canyon is the third largest Canyon in the world. And it is not often on most travellers itinerary, which makes it even more fun to have experienced. The so called Panorama Route, where you can see Blyde Canyon, is also extremely picturesque. Don't miss this, if you are going to South Africa. It is not far from Kruger National Park, so make a stop before or after your wildlife safari.
