Very helpful and friendly staff. Allison was over the top at check-in. The A/C worked very well, a big plus for me. The bed was quite comfortable. The refrigerator was not full sized but much bigger than the little ones I have seen. It had a separate freezer also. The room itself was tastefully painted, but it needed some deep cleaning. Especially the baseboards, nasty. The window area full of cobwebs and critter skeletons. Unfortunately, the bathroom door did not shut. Not sure if it was the wrong fit (it was newer) or if humidity had something to do with it. Spoke to staff at check out and he will put issues into a report. Very friendly, professional staff that I encountered. The renovations that have been happening had not reached the room we were in for 2 nights.

This is one of the best places my family has ever stayed in! From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we checked out, we couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful this place is! Such a great experience and will definitely book again if we are back in the area! 5 stars all around!

Loved The Gracie Suite! We absolutely loved our stay at The Downtown Post in The Gracie Suite! From the moment we arrived, it felt comfortable, welcoming, and peaceful. The suite was beautifully done, very clean, and had so much charm and character. It was one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Everything was thoughtfully put together, and we really appreciated the little details that made our stay extra enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely stay here again and won't hesitate to recommend "The Downtown Post" to family and friends. If you're considering booking it—do it!
