(Auteuil) Route d'Auteuil aux Lacs On February 18, 1873, the city of Paris granted the concession for fifty years of a location in the Bois de Boulogne to create a racecourse for obstacle race. Arch. Walter Destailleur 1873. This "temple of the obstacle" and its growing notoriety could only lead to a second more prestigious construction. Arch. Albert Emmanuel d’Ondt Sculptor: Léon-Eugène Lambert 1921-24. In the late 1960s, these buildings do not respond to public demands for comfort anymore. Another building is built and another one is remodeled. Arch. Eugène Lizero and Leriche & Jean 1976.
