"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"Lovely quiet holiday in the country, and still on the Algarve, not an English breakfast or fish and chips in sight, the accommodation is great and suited us well, plenty of room to site out on the patio's and enjoy the sunshine. It's a five mile drive to get to the shops so a car is a necessity, there is a little Portuguese cafe / bar just down the road that does nice coffee. "We loved our stay at the Benagil beach house. The view from the deck is incredible. Being able to walk to the beach in one minute is awesome. However, a few things to know before you go: 1. Communication is with a property management company and we asked for more blankets, toilet paper, and did not receive. The maid only comes once a week so if you miss that date for requests, nothing else will come. 2. It’s tricky with a car! It’s lots of stairs to get to so pack wisely and bring grocery bags...

"Have just had a lovely stay in Casa Pedro. What a perfect location. Everything you would need in walking distance. The view from the balcony wonderful and lovely restaurants on your doorstep. Stairs a little steep but had been told about that and bedroom a bit tight but again was already aware of this. All in all a lovely holiday and property would go again."

"This cabin is super cute and located in the slow village. The antique furnishings were beautiful. We were able to walk to the restaurant and pizza place, and our kids walked down the street to see the chickens many times. The restaurant was really yummy (chocolate mousse with salt) and the pizza place was just average and only took euros. The only thing I would wish for is a fan. It got warm upstairs at night, and we could not leave the windows open because mosquitoes would get in. The bbq area...

"The view was lovely and such a pleasure to wake up in the morning too. Communication with Elmarie the owner was really efficient. Tricky road to access the house. Hot tub was nice after being cleaned. AC was only in the living room. Master bedroom fan didn't cool enough, other bedroom fan worked well. Loads of towels available which was really good. Kitchen was great to use and had everything we needed. Remember to bring shampoo and shower gel. Really beautiful view and nice drive into Lagos."

El menaje, mobiliario, y distribución estaba todo fantástico, muy completo y práctico. La situación es inmejorable. Hemos alquilado varias veces por la zona y sin duda repetiremos.
