“I love this place - got a front beach hut - so quiet - beach at the front has strong current. Right by many dive centers. not too far from the harbour. The staff always had a smile always ready to help. I did have an incident where someone was trying to open my door - a little unnerving but nothing like an island scare :). No one was there but the dogs were barking. I tried to message the staff at 4 am when this happened but no reply. Understandable as it was super early in the morning -……

“Our stay was amazing at the bungalow! Things just to keep in mind is you are in the middle of the jungle so we did find a lot of ants in our room and some other bugs but nothing that overly affected us. Other than that the rooms were in tip top shape and the staff was amazing. It is on a mountain so ask the receptionist about delivering food, it wasn’t overly expensive as well. They brought dinner and breakfast right to your door and we’re so kind. Would definitely stay again!! :)”

“ Sunset bungalow on Nusa Penida Island: OK, so a lot to say about this villa. Me and my friend came to Bali and stayed at 6 different places over 4 weeks. I think this was our least favourite mainly for the fact that it was not convenient. Don’t get me wrong the hotel villa itself was fine, but the location was extremely inconvenient and not accessible to using grab to book a car driver it made that not possible at all, which meant that the local taxis could charge you whatever price they……

“This was a beautiful place to stay overlooking rice terrace and mountains. The owner Windu and his family were all very nice and would help me with anything I needed. If you are looking to get away from the crowds and rewind, this is the place. Although I wouldn’t recommend for anyone looking to meet others, as this isn’t a social hostel by any means. Otherwise it is very nice! ”

“This hotel was a real nice find! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was 10 minutes drive from the port and 30- 40 mins drive to some of the main tourist attractions. Which, for the size of the island, is about as close as you get whilst still being near the main area and restaurants. Very friendly hotel pets always looking for cuddles (1 dog, 2 cats). A lovely pool but could really do with some sun loungers! That is my only suggestion. We loved it here ”
