"I came here for a few a days of peace and quiet and I was well rewarded with those things. The food was delicious, starting with a welcoming with a nice afternoon tea. Great happy hour deals also. I then tried a spa treatment (3 hours of heaven) and did the Balinese cooking course and offering making class. Both were fun and gave some insight into the culture. I would happily return here. "

Pool is refreshing - maybe bring floaties for younger kids as the pool doesn’t have a shallow end (although we forgot to bring any and our kids have become much stronger swimmers in the few days we have been here!) "I couldn't have wished for a better villa. Entering the villa I saw the beautiful, clean pool surrounded by a very private well maintained garden. Coming home after a long day out and having a relaxing swim in the pool before dinner was a perfect routine. The host was professional, friendly, punctual when I arrived and departed and assisted with my luggage and any questions or help I needed. The villa itself inside and out has Bali appeal. "I will never forget my stay here, the villa with the infinity pool over looking the jungle was just perfect. The floating breakfast in the pool was absolutely amazing, as were all the breakfasts here, the banana pancakes are the best in Bali. The staff were all so kind and so helpful, they really took care of me and as a solo female traveller, I’d highly recommend this place. I felt really safe and happy the entire time. "Oh my, what a treat it was staying at Udaya Resort and Spa. The staff spoiled us everyday with attention to details. Breakfast comes with the room. It is a full cooked to order meal chosen from a menu several pages long. Delicious! There is also afternoon tea which is accompanied by little sandwiches and sweets. Very civilized. Be sure to plan time for the spa. We spent hours there and were sad to leave the pampering. Udaya also has a trolly into town periodically. The restaurant is excellent. Don’t miss the fruit juice drinks. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with big soaking tubs, plenty of storage, patios, and the villas have a private pool. You will appreciate the air conditioning. "

"We had a lovely stay at Swahita! Firstly the staff are fantastic, so polite and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean with a spacious bathroom and large balcony. If I had to suggest an improvement then I would suggest better WiFi (it was slow and sometimes disconnects) and although there was nearby construction, it wasn’t too loud or early and there’s nothing they can do about that.
