"Friendly helpful staff, good size room, great art-deco style and furnishings. It would have been helpful to have more signage directing to the rooms at the top of the stairs - it’s easy to go the wrong way! Also a bit of history about the building would be good in the lobby or rooms - it has a fascinating past."

"We have stayed here a number of times, as our daughter goes to the Uni of Liverpool and it is near her accommodation. Brilliant that she can come and join us for breakfast too. We realise now that the first time we stayed we must have had an upgrade as the rooms since haven’t been as nice. It is of no consequence though and it is always our first choice. Lovely staff, lovely breakfast and nothing at all to fault. "
