"Philippe was an exceptionally helpful and responsive host who made our first Vrbo experience easy. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs, the comfortable beds, clean linens, updated shower, and convenient washer/dryer. The cottage is an older, fairly basic property in a quiet lakeside neighborhood, with shared lake access a short walk down the gravel lane. The kayaks were a nice bonus, and Philippe went out of his way to make us feel welcome."

"We have stayed at this property many times and have had an excellent experience. This last stay had one issue. We booked a handicapped room with a roll in shower due to the fact my husband walks with a rollator. After taking my shower which was a very short one, I walked out of the shower and almost the entire bathroom was flooded with water. Water started to flow into the hallway and then into the bedroom. I immediately called down to the desk to ask for maintenance, however, I was told they don't come in for another 2 hours. The young girl at the desk was all alone was very nice and so concerned. She gave me a hand full of towels to hopefully soak up the water. Unfortunately, my husband was unable to take a shower. Since we were leaving, I found out the water issue carried to the floor below. I can understand that pipes get clogged and can break. I feel we should still receive some type of compensation on our stay for the inconvenience. The young girl at the desk was so apologetic and was going to leave a note for the manager to see what they could do. We will continue to still stay at this Hampton Inn since we like the handicapped rooms, it's clean and the location to Alfred Tech & Wegmans is perfect for us."

"Being country folk, we enjoyed the remote location of the cabin. It was nice sitting by the campfire listening to the coyotes. The inside was cozy and comfortable with many fluffy throws to wrap up in. The literature and maps of attractions in the area was extremely helpful. Thank you to the hosts for making them available. All 4 of us were able to get a shower without running out of hot water. Some suggestions: 1. Stock the kitchen with essentials. It surprised me to find coffee, plastic wrap, heavy duty foil, zip lock bags, a large pot and a pizza pan were not provided since these items were included in the other Vrbo’s we stayed in. 2. Provide laundry detergent. I didn’t pack any thinking some would be provided and I didn’t want to buy any and lug it back home. All in all, we all enjoyed our trip."
