Big, bright and stylish...very comfortable and hotel feels detached and above the pub and restaurant - feels relaxing and yet all the advebture you want is beneath your feet. Will stay agin (soon i hope)

Terrific older beautiful building, gorgeous tastefully decorated floor boarding, spacious room with a lovely shared shower with great bar downstairs delightfully decorated. Only critique would benefit from having shampoo and conditioner in batriims. Lovely fluffy robe and slippers provided which makes the shared bathroom very simple. A grande old dame!

There was an alarm going all night. The room was very nice and clean, also nice staff. However, very crowded in the bar (good for the place:)), but a little noisy. But overall very good.

First time to experience a shared toilet and bathroom. Good for the environment as water usage is minimal. All the basic amenities in room is there except no coffee sachets. Hotel is good for transients. Like the old buildings in Fre tho, high ceilings and tall/long windows. Cant complain as we saw a famlly of 4 with 2 small kids next door. Overall, we had a fantastic stay.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Simple, clean renovation of old hotel accom. Shared bathroom very pleasant. Very walkable area (though perhaps not for solo person late at night). Pub music/noise from downstairs a little loud when trying to get a little one down to sleep, however ended before 11/12pm.

Room was exactly what we needed. Windows were a bit drafty and bed was a bit creaky, but other than that it provided all we needed. It was nice to see a power board for more plug-in's other than just the single power-point beside/behind the bed!

The staff were so accommodating! I was able to check in a little early which was VERY much appreciated after such an early flight. They also held my bags for me for basically half the day after I checked out. The room was very cute and full of character. The shared bathrooms were very clean and never once was an issue. The ONLY thing I would caution is that the room are above the hotel's bar and restaurant. It's very loud at times if you're sensitive to noise and try to go to sleep earlier than 11:00pm.
