This was a wonderful setting on a beautiful property! We went for our daughter's graduation from Bryn Mawr. The Innkeeper was very friendly and helpful.
Bob, the proprietor was very proactive about reaching before our arrival. As a traveler arriving from out of state, I found the communication to be very helpful as we navigated our stay at his beautiful establishment. He was quite accommodating with our arrival and departure schedule and offered brilliant suggestions for local eating establishments. The room was beautiful with a comfy bed and robust wifi. An excellent choice that I hope to visit again VERY SOON.
As always, Bob & Traudi are amazing. The inn is always clean and the food is great. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We love staying here!
Beautiful room, helpful, friendly, informative and accommodating host, and a restful and relaxing stay with a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
My son and his new bride spent their wedding night here. They were upgraded, and loved the jacuzzi in their room! They loved the breakfast and appreciated the late checkout. They said that it was beautiful, the hosts were wonderful and they had a much needed get away.
Charming Victorian with a ton of character in a great location managed by gracious hosts. That is how we would sum up our experience at the Wayne B&B. My husband and I have traveled extensively across the country, and we have opted to choose a B&B over a hotel most of the time when traveling for leisure. We can safely say this was the best B&B experience so far, while we have plenty to compare with. A well maintained historical house with great attention to detail in a walking distance to the main street with a number of nice restaurants. Our room and en-suite bathroom were immaculate and full of nice little touches. Living room, dining room and the library were tastefully furnished and felt like home. Bob and Traudi were very welcoming and accommodating every step of the way. Breakfast was delicious and served in a great setting. Maddy, the resident bulldog, was such a delight - so well behaved, she could have sent our two professionally trained labrador retrievers to school. We would certainly recommend the Wayne B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable and home-like place to stay around Philly or Lancaster area.
Our stay was as amazing as it always is. We feel so at home at the Inn! You couldn't ask for better and more accommodating innkeepers. We can't wait to come back next year.
My stay at the Wayne Bed and Breakfast was delightful. The Mr. And Ms. Thomason were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The house and grounds are beautiful, my room and en suite bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was healthy, varied and yummy. They really made me feel like they were glad I was their guest. I definitely recommend it and would be happy to return.

First off, the B&B owner's, Bob and Traudi genuinely love what they do and this happiness and hospitality is extended to their guests. Their home was built in 1790, yet it is filled with light and beautiful furniture and art pieces. The grounds surrounding the home have some specimen trees and the large 55 ft. long pool was an unexpected sight. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the gardens, and it was huge and strewn with light. We had an extended hallway and then a double sink bathroom for our use. Breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the large dining table meeting the other guests. The home is in a great location in Wayne on the Main Line, and very accessible to all points, including the airport when we needed to leave.
Wonderful stay while attending Villanova reunion weekend
My wife and I had a wonderful weekend here while attending the Villanova reunion.
The home and grounds are beautiful and Bob and Traudi are terrific hosts. We loved how quiet the location is, yet minutes from downtown Wayne and Villanova.
We highly recommend the Wayne B&B!
My husband is retired from the hospitality business and he possesses an innate gift of choosing impeccable vacation accommodations across the United States. Lucky for me, he found the Wayne Bed & Breakfast Inn, 211 Stafford Avenue in Wayne, Pennsylvania, for a Memorial Day weekend retreat.
Proprietors Bob and Traudi Thomason provided a perfect setting for relaxing and taking the time to smell the roses, thanks to Traudi?s remarkable gardening skills. And then there is Maddie Thomason, an endearing and gracious English Bulldog that loves people and makes guests feel as if they are staying with old friends.
If you are traveling to southeastern Pennsylvania or Philadelphia?s Mainline, please check out the Wayne Bed & Breakfast. It is a quiet place to stay that is just a few minutes away from great shopping and restaurants, such as At The Table and Christopher?s.

This was a fun place to stay; I really enjoyed it but must hasten to say normally these rates are out of my price range. Bob is a born innkeeper and could not do enough to make my visit wonderful. The second floor suite is divine! Never had better oatmeal, either. Maddy the Greeter, a bulldog, is a treasure -- a lovely, calm dog who politely accepted an apple treat. Within walking distance of shops and whatever you need; very quiet neighborhood. Beautiful garden; nice looking pool. Transportation to airport, train, etc. can be easily arranged and is reasonably priced.
We stayed one night before our Daughter's graduation at Haverford. Was a great decision. A restful and quiet night's sleep in an heavenly bed in the Valley Forge Room. Spacious private bath and of course Maddie the Bulldog. The house is fascinating and filled with many unique pieces....the living room set is incredible. Wish it was not raining so we could have enjoyed spring in the garden. Bob made an incredible Breakfast, even with all my dietary needs and our early departure. Best scrambled eggs ever. He is an incredible story teller and host. The Inn is close to downtown Wayne and restaurants not to be missed.
The Wayne B&B offers a tranquil respite from the suburban surroundings. The house and grounds are spacious, and the inn keepers are warm and hospitable. Enjoyed my stay!
The breakfast is fantastic and we loved our stay!! They were very helpful to us about getting around and it felt like staying with family, so welcoming. The inn is beautiful and had the best night sleep.
Just spent one night in this beautiful home. The room was spacious & comfortable; the bathroom large & pristine. Bob the innkeeper could not be more accommodating. Highly recommend ! Plan to return ...
I stayed at the Wayne B&B while I was at company training for a week since I wanted a more homey experience, and that was exactly what I got! Bob and Traudi were so incredibly warm! The house is gorgeous, the surrounding neighborhood lovely, and the hospitality at the Wayne B&B was unparalleled! I highly recommend it!
