We booked this last minute, and while the location is very nice, the name is a bit misleading. It’s not actually "on the lake". Our “lakefront view” offered only a small glimpse of water in the distance through the trees, and there’s no direct lake access unless you drive through the neighborhood. Be sure to check operating hours—the lodge was closed during our stay, so we didn’t get the full experience. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the mattress was excellent, however, there are no elevators. Golfers will likely appreciate the course.
