The Lodge is on a lake and it is very peaceful there. I stayed there because there is a restaurant attached and it was convenient. But the restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast and the coffee bar/ alcohol bar didn’t open until 4 pm, so wasn’t useful. Also the first floor is on the second floor and no elevator so if you have any physical disability, this isn’t the place for you. But if you love to golf or use the lake, it’s great. I saw several families also staying there.

This is the full 5 stars reviews I ever gave. Worth the price. Room furnishings outstanding. In more expensive quality hotels I have stayed in, I can see that every 10 years it needs renovation. Just don't go when Penn State plays a home game. The price triples.

What a fantastic find in University Park. Will definitely be on the top of my list for places to stay. Since it’s in town parking at the public parking lots might get tricky, but you can’t find a better situated hotel for a fun weekend.

Lovely motel with easy check-in, a restaurant with long hours and friendly staff and patrons and a clean room with a very comfortable bed. Great to stay with my dog (he approved). It's across from a dam with miles of trails and bird watching.
