Having stayed at the Nittany Lion Inn many times over the years, this stay was disappointing. The first room had a soaking wet carpet next to the bed, which the staff must have known about as there was a dehumidifier in the room. We were promptly moved to another room which was much better, but there was a problem with the toilet. When we told the front desk about it, they said that they would send maintenance to look into it, but they never did. Luckily, we were able to fix the problem ourselves, so it did not require a second room move. We purchased two rooms for the weekend, and the second room's air conditioning was not working properly. One again, we told the front desk, but the issue was never resolved. We also saw a needle and syringe in the hallway. I would not recommend this hotel anymore.
