Beautiful place. Always good for an sunset. Nice hiking area. Chihuly in Phoenix. Quite possibly the best park in the country this place has a zip line this huge thing that we're climbing, grills. They have lots of field space and even this really complicated thing where you need strength because you don't want to fall in the water. It's an awesome place after the cubs game. Egret with it's catch. More Chihuly Perry cool but don't expect to make a whole day out of it. It's close to the zoo also though. Chihuly exhibit Beauty in the dessert. Cactus at the dessert gardens. Prickly Pear cactus bloom. Awesome colors of violet and yellow are complementary. Cactus flowers are the most underrated flowers in the world. Most of us have never actually seen a flowering cactus. The Desert Botanical Garden of Phoenix includes more than 4,000 species and approximately 27,650 individual plants for which scientific records are kept. The red butte was created 6 to 15 million years ago and naturally formed with a series of openings caused by erosion. The openings and Night bike ride 🚴🏽👊🏽 The stars were out in Phoenix last night!
Close to Tempe, this hike takes ~10 minutes and provides some beautiful views. And for the first time, I got to experience this place at night. It was a perfect way to spend an evening.

Nice view of Papago Park from the top of a small hill . Tempe has boat rentals and paddle boards for a fun day on the water. Saw this old mission in Scottsdale. Sort of reminded me of an old Ansel Adams photo. I was drawn the the big, solid colours. It consist of ice cream or sorbet or gelato (you pick one or two flavours out of 24 unique flavours), your choice of macaron, and topped with marshmallow toasted right in front of you with a butane torch. Add some sprinkles of your choice and, voila, you got this unique, fun, and wonderful heavenly treat! I got a cookie cup with strawberry guava gelato, mango habanero sorbet (this one has a nice little kick), red velvet macaron, toasted marshmallow, and chocolate sprinkles. It is made of ricotta donut holes dusted with cinnamon and raw sugar, and served with three decadent sauces: smoked hot fudge, prickly pear jelly, and salted caramel all made in-house. I enjoy this botanical garden a lot, especially in the months of March-May when desert plants start to bloom and, bees and butterflies are all over the place.
