The pool area was nice. Parking was adequate. The shower was hot. Though there was a kitchette, there was not any dishes silverware, cups ,pots, etc. The coffee maker was broke. Air conditioning was good. The floors were in need of a good cleaning. Bed was comfy. Staff was not friendly.

This was my second stay. The room was like an apartment, a place you could live permanently. The wifi issue I had my first visit had been fixed, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room had no light switch for the bathroom. We only got 1 towel for 3 people. The bathtubs in both rooms are in need of replacement. We wanted to swim in the evening, but there were no lights. Both rooms looked like they were ½ way through a renovation. In 1 of our rooms we couldn't get the tv to work. The girl that checked is in was very nice.

We've been here for months and never had an issue that wasn't addressed, hot water is excellent in our room, AC is also excellent, we didn't have any issues with anything really... Neighbors are pretty quiet, front desk manager is really nice and ready to work with, its inexpensive and I sleep like a baby here. I think that some reviews are really harsh and over the top because I've been on 3 different rooms here and if something was needed, Gigi makes sure to take care of it right away.

The stay was great. The lady during check in was very nice and the fastest check in time I have ever experienced. The room I had was very spacious and clean. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful, close to nearby grocery stores Safeway and H Mart, close to the Metro Rail. When my travel plans call me back to the Phoenix area I will look to return and stay at American Executive Inn.

This is an older hotel and it shows. However, its outward appearance belies other accommodating features, such as its affordability, courteous staff, comfortable bed, old but functioning amenities (refrigerator, microwave, stove, television, small bathroom). It is in close proximity to metro and freeways. I would gladly stay here again on another trip to the Phoenix area and use the money I save to spend on dining and entertainment. This Motel is one of my wife's and I's favorite when we visit the Phoenix area. The staff is beyond friendly. They are prompt. The owner has even added the personal touch. We've stayed here quite a few time. On one occasion it was getting late on our check in day. Something out of the ordinary for us, she literally called our cell phone to make sure we were all right. Nobody does that anymore. We feel part of the family!!!!!! Two thumbs up!!! Way up.

While searching for a hotel to stay for the night we came across this one online and thought the pictures of the place were nice. Turns out, this hotel looks nothing like the pictures advertised. We walked into our room and were completely appalled by how dirty, unsanitary, and disgusting it was. Our deadbolt didn’t even lock. We didn’t feel safe staying there at all. There was toilet paper clogging the bathroom sink, footprints on the walls, trash and dead bugs on the floor, ripped bathroom towels, stains on the toilet seat, and busted outlets. It was disgusting! When going to complain to the front desk, they said there were no refunds issued after check in. They didn’t even offer to clean the room. We didn’t feel comfortable staying there so we just had to lose out on over $100. We felt dirty just being in there. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
