The property is gorgeous and so relaxing. The staff were excellent and gracious. The pool is sparkling clean. Although I didn’t eat at Dinah’s Restaurant, it smelled good and the food I observed on peoples plates looked delicious and beautifully presented.
I wanted so much to give Dinah’s 5 stars. However, the room I stayed in, 308, was overpowered with mildew and musty odor. It was because of the old filthy carpet. The room itself appeared to be clean and updated- except for the old musty carpet.
It was a bummer, I got really sick from the mold and mildew. Had to keep both doors open- a chair wedged in the front door to keep it open, and the sliding door open all night to try to get some fresh air. Got no sleep and had to cut our getaway short and head home.
In closing, I will say- If the carpet was removed from the rooms, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. I truly wanted to give 5 stars 😢
