“This was a super basic hotel. The location is convenient and an easy walk from the train station. It is also a close walk to the historic district where you’ll find lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. While we expected very basic accommodations for the price, there were some issues with our room that I need to flag: 2 of 3 windows did not open/were broken, there were missing fixtures and large holes in the drywall, and overall the furniture was quite flimsy. “The room was clean, breakfast was brought to your room every morning, which was wonderful, and the staff was excellent very helpful. The unit was on the fourth floor. There was an elevator however, the elevator didn’t always work. We do have mobility issues and had to climb four flights of stairs to get up to the room. The bathroom is extremely tight. There was barely 1 foot between the commode and the sink you had to squeeze by sideways to get to the shower.The area surrounding the property is……

“Nicely appointed rooms and a really good location close to the old town, port and transport hubs. Comfy beds and good size rooms. Bath in the bedroom is not to our personal taste but I know is very popular these days. The breakfast was good and there was a good quantity. You order it the night before as the breakfast room is v small. I think for longer stays you might struggle with the variety. Staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a lovely old apartment building so……
