Písek Stone Bridge The town of Písek is situated on the Otava River, and is around 100 km south of Prague. Decorated with (replica) baroque statues, this is the oldest stone bridge in the Czech Republic. It does have a similar feel to Charles Bridge in Prague, although there are much less tourists in Písek. #colorful

Písek Malthouse (the green building) Malt was produced here for the local breweries, although is now a municipal gallery. The tourist information can be found here, and a few local restaurants have tables in the courtyard.

Great location in woods in town !
A pleasant find on edge of town, within walking distance of central old historic area. Very kind & professional staff. Breakfast was delicious with large selection & if you requested other items, they were happily provided !

Nice, with a couple glitches.
Overall the stay was fine. We were in the back of the building, overlooking the back yard of the neighbor. So it was very quiet. The bed was fine. The location in old town was very good. An easy walk to almost everything. The only glitches were some sparrows nesting on the lights outside the room. ...

Als älteres Ehepaar wollten wir einen kombinierten Fahrrad- Badeurlaub entspannt und vor allem ruhig verbringen. Diese Erwartungen haben sich voll erfüllt. Wir hatten tolles Wetter, da konnten wir bis Abends den direkten Seeeinstieg super nutzen. Betreuung vor Ort sehr nett.
