“The lodge may not look luxurious but the staff make sure you feel like it is. Insuring all your needs are met. The staff were amazing, first class! All meals were a beautiful presentation and they got to know you and then catered to your tastes. He mad my husband a fresh picante sauce. We loved the location. “Room was spotless and comfortable. Beautiful spot. Host was great! Only thing I could suggest is the proper amount of towels for the amount of guests booked. We only had two towels for three guests. But this doesn’t affect how we feel about the place! Great stay!”

We were only here for one night since we just needed a stay that would get us closer to our next stop and didn’t want to drive late at night but we definitely wouldn’t mind staying longer to relax. “Rooms are old and bathrooms doesn’t flush properly. There are no other attractions around and have to go to la fortuna for any activity which is an hour drive. The resort is good with thermal spas and pools .”

“My favorite place in Costa Rica - maybe anywhere! So quiet and peaceful! You truly feel like you are in the jungle. Upgrade to the spa on deck of your room - amazing to sit and drink coffee or a cocktail in the jungle in warm water. The staff was amazing. The restaurant reasonably priced (it's not everywhere) and delicious. It's on a dirt road, but easily drivable. They will help you plan excursions! My husband, myself and my teenage boys all loved it! Our room had a huge loft the boys stayed……
