Point Pleasant River Museum & Learning Center Tours

I would not rate this hotel 4 star . It was not well kept up. The walls were scuffed up, the carpeting was old, the chair in our room was so sunk in, you couldn't even sit in it. I would not stay there again.

The room was very moist and damp, with a mildew-like smell that stuck to every single thing we brought in. The bed was comfortable, but again smelled like mildew… so thankfully (?) we brought our own pillows and blankets (which immediately were washed when we got to our destination). The bathroom was okay, not crazy about the toilet misting the back of your legs after you flush but maybe some enjoy that. Also, having the coffee maker and other “kitchen supplies” on the bathroom counter- barely 4 feet from the spraying toilet- was a little uncomfortable, so none of that was used. Soaps were definitely outdated because they fully crumbled in my hands, hand sanitizer was our buddy for the night. Oh and I almost forgot, the chair that is in the corner of the room that people usually put their bags and such on? COVERED in mysterious white stains. Unfortunately I’m not exaggerating on that one. Other than all that, I would say find a different place to stay, especially if you have somewhere to be the next day other than a car. And even that is pushing it. The one guy working the front desk in the morning was nice though, I’ll give them that.
