"This spacious one room cabin was clean and stocked by considerate, generous people. There were board games, several flavors of creamer in the fridge, plenty of nice towels, and a fun little loft. The home cooked breakfast was delicious and delivered on time. The best part was the back porch with a beautiful view of the river. We will definitely go back!"

"It served its purpose well, needed a room for the night. Conveniently located and close to restaurants and stores. Not fancy, not new, but clean. Mattresses are getting worn but sheets are clean. Smelled clean. Didn't eat breakfast, looked simple but once again, it was clean."
"Nice clean hotel. Only issue we notice was the pool. It was way below water level so the filters were not able to keep it clean properly, but was still a nice swimming experience. The pool deck was littered with cigarette butts the first afternoon we were there. However, it was cleaned up by the next morning. Service was great! Very friendly and helpful staff. The free breakfast was wonderful with many choices offered. "

"We had a great family vacation. The library in this home was a cozy favorite and we enjoyed playing games at the large kitchen table.It is an old house and with it comes some quirks, but overall a wonderful experience. The only piece to be aware of for families is the loud pump that can heard any time water is used. The host was friendly and the check in/out process was the easiest we have ever had with our trips.Looking forward to returning again in future years!"

"Spend a whole week here and hardly left the property. This house has everything you need from toys for the kids, fishing gear, tubes & water toys, bug spray (which I never really needed b/c I saw no mosquitoes and if they are around they will find me! Lol), lots of household goods, plenty of tp & paper towels, laundry soap, etc. All the pots and pans and kitchen utensils including an airfry, 2 types of coffee pots & coffee and tea. We cooked there all week and the only thing that you might want to bring are some spices otherwise just bring food, clothes and a toothbrush. Then sit back and relax on the front porch swing, my favorite place! Thanks again Roger & Mary for sharing your beautiful property, you truly have thought of everything! "

"The house was perfect. We were in town for a family reunion. There were my son and three kids plus my husband and I. We had plenty of room. The place is well stocked. "
"Suoer friendly host and staff! A very comfortable and unique cabin overlooking the Ohio River where we watched the barges pushing their loads. The homecooked breakfast delivered to the cabin in the morning was a nice perk. And we appreciated finding that welcomed our pets."
"Only stayed as a couple but this place could easily accommodate a family! It was clean and beyond comfortable! Two great bathrooms and two comfortable sitting areas to watch TV. Quiet and private! Host left us cookies upon arrival, which were delicious by the way. And honestly, one of my favorite touches was her instruction not to clean upon leaving because we were on vacation. That was awesome! Thank you so much for having us!"

"We love the two separate cabins and enjoyed the fishing in the Ohio river. We even caught a catfish! We had everything we needed for our stay and the communication was great from the host. We wish we could have stayed longer than 1 day. Watch out for the poison ivy on the bank but other than that, great stay!"
