The elk in Boxley were so near to see every nightThe hikes and outer roads are all beautiful! - The Glory Hole and The Lost Valley were our favorite hikes!! We will be back sometime to float the Buffalo River….and to finish a book I started in the cabin. "

"The room was on the smaller side, but our stay was great! We loved the history of the hotel, which is why we chose to stay there. They survived the great depression and world war II. It kind of felt like we were staying in another country. We would definitely stay again. Anne served us at breakfast. She was very kind. And do not underestimate their pancakes. Having one King bedroom and bath on the main level worked great for the older couple, and the two younger adult singles had their own King bedrooms and shared bath upstairs (with a separate thermostat!). The property is easily accessible (no steep drives) and just 5 miles from Jasper."
