“Everything was very good as always. Went for a second visit to Have the fillet steak to check the new oven wasn't a fluke from the previous week but it was just as good. Christian said we have swordfish as a new dish so had that for lunch that was amazing too. Didn't find out my Mum was there with friends and she also had the swordfish lol in the main restaurant as i was in the bar lol.Breakfast was also as good as always, Thanks Gill. Till next time as only 25 mins down the road..”

“My recent stay was extremely disappointing. The bed was very uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. “Simple self check in into a narrow hall way leading up some stairs to get to the rooms. This area was will lit and secure. The room itself was well equipped with fridge/freezer microwave kettle etc and fresh milk and bottled water was left in the fridge. Two wall mounted TV's with working remotes and cutlery and pots etc all available. Comfy bed with towels provided for the lovely bathroom with walk in shower. All in all everything you need for a short stay away.”

“The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.”
