"I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my stay at Roatán Media Luna Resort affiliated by Meliá between 18th and 21st of March 2026, in the room # 108. The bathroom floor in my room was in very poor condition, as evidenced in the photographs previously provided. The deterioration of the flooring not only affected the aesthetics of the room but also raised concerns regarding safety and proper maintenance standards expected from a property affiliated with the Meliá brand. This situation significantly impacted on the comfort and quality of my stay. I trust that Meliá upholds high standards across its affiliated properties, and unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. Given the circumstances, I respectfully request appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused. Considering the condition of the room and the impact on my stay, I believe a compensation equivalent to 30–40% of the total amount paid would be reasonable. "What an awesome gem on the Island, the drive into the property had me wondering but once onsite it was perfect. The garden cabin was exactly what we wanted for a short getaway to relax and unplug. The staff was awesome and very welcoming. The private snorkeling trip to Pigeon Key was great, we swam with the sharks and rays. The owners know how to spoil you while onsite, breakfast was very good. Also had an awesome Rum Punch, 5 stars all the way around. We are already looking at dates for a return trip."

"The place was just ok.The biggest problem was it's not in the safest neighborhood. The neighbors had 2 dogs tied up in the vacant lot right next to the house and they barked from 5:30am till around midnight. There were stray dogs everywhere. We had 2 come up on the upper deck several times. After 4 days of that we had to find other accommodations. So very disappointing. Unfortunate waste of money."

"Arrived at 10:00 pm and the shower would not work. Called Hotel.com and the hotel office and no one could dispatch maintenance. They arrived at 8:00 next morning. This shower head was defective so it lets me know house keeping did not clean the shower area properly. Plus the A/C was turned down to 16 and it would not cool the apartment. So for this visit and unit, I was not happy."
