"When we arrived there were no rooms available, even though we had a prepaid guarenteed reservation through Orbitz, and we were turned away. When we requested a refund via Orbitz it was denied. We were out aproximately $100 for the room and $25 for a taxi to another hotel. The only positive was that the Hotel clerk did help us find another hotel. I chated with and Orbitz agen for about 15 - 20 minutes who was virtually no help at all. "

"Beautifully tucked in the well preserved and famous coral reef of Roatan. Puerta Azul is a boutique hotel providing the tranquility and essence of relation. There are few options for rooms in the gardn as well as cabins close to the beach. Breakfast is included while providing in house delicious lunch and dinner made and served by the staff. Meticulously kept beach, fantastic deck stretching into the clear ocean getting you closer the the reef. Kayak, paddle boats and snorkel gear available. Tours available right on the premises. I truly relaxing environment from the location and the team. The owners Talia and Antonio as well as all the staff made every effort to elevate the experiences to be had taking personal interest in each guest. A wonderful holiday. "Room was very tidy . Not Staff didn’t speak English as before , but didn’t impede having a good time . There was however a lack of warm water and no hot water for showers . My 4th or 5th visit over the years . Dive centre and staff amazing!"

"I had a wonderful stay at Clarion Suites Roatan at Pineapple Villas in French Harbour—it’s a beautiful spot. The staff was super professional and courteous from start to finish. William at the spa desk deserves a huge shout-out; he was so attentive and helpful, taking care of all my arrangements and making my day there perfect. Jake and John at the front desk were absolute stars—kind, courteous, and always ready to assist. The cleaning crew was amazing too, taking care of every request without hesitation. The grounds are just spectacular, with that perfect tropical vibe, gorgeous pools, and landscaping. We loved eating at Herbie’s Sports Bar & Grill—the food was delicious and really topped off the experience. Can’t wait to come back; this place made for an unforgettable Roatan getaway!"

"Our host Desiree was so responsive and gave us incredible recommendations. She took care of everything from booking us in-home massages to our incredible cook for the week, Juanita and her son Ever that helped us book adventures throughout our vacation. She also referred us to Corie for a private snorkeling day. She was really incredible. We had no question unanswered. Our grounds keeper, Arnold, was also amazing. Really, everyone was so kind and there to assist us! "
