"The shuttle service was great the hotel rooms are nice but I will say this I stayed in the upper section of the resort room 16 and it’s a hike up the stairs to the room but view was fantastic the real part that bothered me is the toliet it wouldn’t take paper so how do ya wipe ya butt :) other then that resort is great very low key relaxed and staff are allways nice and attentive "

"Ocean view was beautiful but it was definitely misrepresented as it did not have the restaurant or hot tub or a clean pool until my last night. I booked it because it said it had a restaurant and because I booked it as a 2nd place to stay excise of the 1st place being under construction I could not afford to have to find a third location. So I was stuck walking up and down a mountain 2-3 times per day. Good thing I am a young 50 year old I. Good health and could do it "

"Ok this is tough because this property was in the middle of construction to make it more updated so I don’t think it would be fair to rate them because those guys worked day and night to update the front area then. I do think this place is a hidden gem for anyone who wants a quiet getaway with a decent beach. We spent a lot of time on the beach and absolutely loved it. The room although outdated were always clean and bug free. Even if it was a far outdated property because it was literally one of the first ever built on that island, I would still stay here again. The food and drinks were t anything special but I was more interested in the beach and finding things to do on Roatan. We were pretty much the only English speaking people there for the whole week but we managed just fine. If you are picky and enjoy a decent beach this is the place to go. I give them two thumbs up for trying to accommodate people while they are updating because it can’t be easy to do. I’m glad I took a chance and booked this place even if it wasn’t the high end classy place like we are used to. It was perfect for our needs. "

"We were immediately met at the airport by their shuttle. The room was spacious, very clean with great air conditioning, microwave, fridge and small wall mounted tv. Bed was comfortable but only had a top sheet - we tried unsuccessfully to get a blanket or comforter as shown in pictures. The pool water was 'greenish" not suitable for swimming. Dining room was permanently closed. We had to walk down a very steep hill to try and find a restaurant without success - ended up reluctantly buying street food - questionable food-safe? The place needed a lot of TLC to bring it up to its former condition. We were on the 4th floor (no elevator) but quite a nice view of the ocean where we watched a cruise ship arrive on Monday morning. Once it is fully restored to its former condition with an operating restaurant and pool I would be quite happy to try it again. "

"What can I say, I’m happy I found this place for my solo trip journey. Just what I needed, love the property and love everything about the staff. The staff is amazing and the property is well kept. Honestly you don’t have to leave the property if you don’t want to. There’s literally everything there. I like the idea of having a second infinity pool that’s more kids friendly. Food and drinks were good. I can’t wait come back here. "

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room was lovely, beach was always kept clean and raked. Food was fresh and tasty and we especially enjoyed the daily breakfast specials. It was quite windy for most of our 4 day stay, but when we finally were able to enjoy some snorkel time on the reef we were extremely impressed and wanted more time to explore. "

"I want to warn guest about taxis. The front desk thought they were doing me a favor telling me I could get a taxi on the street which I didn't think anything of. I had to negotiate the price. I also didn't think anything about that. However, after I got into the taxi, he drove me down the street and then tried to drop me off. I ultimately got to my location. But that was not a pleasant experience. The hotel should know better. The taxi driver is really ripped to us off with their pricing. The hotel should do something to take care of that for guests needing to go places."
