This was a nice, comfortable hotel close to my son’s house - we enjoyed some great restaurants in the area during our stay! We also saw some cool art in the city.
Amazing hotel! We aren’t from the area and the staff, especially Jess, was so informative and made us feel really welcome! If we ever come back to Portland, we will absolutely be staying in the hotel!
Clean, safe, professional, well maintained, everything worked as it should, plus there were a couple bonus balcony points for anyone to use.
Just a heads up: We had a single king-size bed room where the shower was separated by a shaded glass, but you could see the outline of the person showering. Fine for couples as it was my spouse and I, but if you're traveling with someone other than your +1 it could be awkward, so I'd just suggest you clarify with the hotel if that's your situation. I'd stay there again.
The room was awesome! I felt quite comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating when needs arose. It was extremely clean, housekeeping was thorough and friendly, and the front desk staff were all amazing!
My only concern is that I wasn’t knowledgeable about the destination fees, which is charged per day. I’ll concede that I may have missed it during the booking but that’s a nice charge that easily adds up if you’re staying multiple days (about 23.50/day). Something for the owner to consider!
Loved the local discount and the shower and towels. Free coffee in the morning was wonderful and the beds were so comfortable we slept well. The downside was no available parking when we arrived. Reception was not very interested in greeting us upon arrival, in the am and sporadically throughout the stay. When we went to sit in lobby area on Sunday am there were old drink cups out from the previous night (thus the lower score for clean environment). Staff was very helpful giving us recs for dining. The place had its ups and downs but we will likely stay again because of the location and bed comfort.
Whenever we’re in Portland, Jupiter NEXT is an absolute must! We love hanging out at Hey Love lounge and restaurant inside the hotel—the vibes are always amazing, and the rooms are super cute, comfortable and cozy.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Hotel location was convenient and the bar was great.
The room was clean with a good view. Comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of towels to use. The fridge has a variety of drinks and snacks available, but they aren't free. Parking was affordable and easy to find, and the hotel was a short walk away. The hotel is close to many restaurants and easy to get around. Staff was very informative and friendly!!
Cons: Based on my preferences, the shower had low pressure and wasn't very good. I could hear when someone flushed the toilet upstairs and when they were walking- I guess it’s like apartment style. The garbage company woke me up every morning around 4- 5 a.m., and I am a light sleeper. The TV wasn't smart, just cable.
