It was a perfect location for us, as we were there to visit our son studying/living at UCD (approx. 1 km from the Broc House). It’s about a half-hour ride via public transportation to the downtown areas/sites (Trinity College, Kilmainham Gaol, Guinness Storehouse, etc.), but this wasn’t an inconvenience for us, as we were only traveling in-and-out of town once a day.
