"the apartment was within an old building with beautiful character. the apartment itself also had a lot of character and was clean and perfect for my family of five. the manager of the apartment was kind and accommodating. there was a language barrier as we don't speak any German but we were eventually able to communicate with the help of Google translate :)"

"Für 1 bis 2 Nächte okay, aber nicht als Ferienwohnung für längeren Aufenthalt. Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl und das Treppenhaus ist nicht einladend. Der Nadelfilzteppich riecht total muffig. Die Küchenzeile ist viel zu klein. Über die Mülleimer sollte noch eine Arbeitsplatte gebaut werden, damit überhaupt was abgestellt werden kann. "

"Die Wohnung ist großzügig und sehr gut aufgeteilt. Die Einrichtung ist stylisch, kreativ und ganz gemütlich. Es gibt eine moderne Waschmaschine mit Kurzprogramm, ein Bügelbrett mit Bügeleisen und alle notwendigen Küchengeräte. Das Geschirr ist sehr schön. Das sind die positiven Punkte. Die Einrichtung (besonders in der Wohnküche) ist schon sehr stark abgenutzt und teilweise defekt. Vieles sieht auch einfach verbastelt aus. "We had an unpleasant experience when we sat in the tables outside of the restaurant. We sate down with our groceries from the market and she became very annoyed that we weren't allowed to sit there. I went to go look at the menu and wasn't sure if i wanted to eat there. She said we weren't allowed to be there. It was pretty rude. We weren't planning on eating there, but they don't give you grocery bags so we had a few things with us, since our flight left at 5am, however, we should be able to sit for a second, as paying guest, to make an informed decision. "

"The location is great and it could have been a good stay but unfortunately there were too many issues. I stayed in a double bedroom but was only provided a single duvet as bedding. The external blinds were not working properly and kept opening up by themselves in the middle of the night. The heating was locked and could not be adjusted and was noisy throughout the night. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Furthermore, I visited Berlin for the half marathon and in the very early morning of the race the fire alarm went off requiring the building to be evacuated which was not a good way to start the day."
