We saw a show at the Convention Center and the Double Tree was the perfect next door location. Affordable, clean, beautiful hotel and lovely staff. There was also complimentary parking in the attached parking garage for guests. I would absolutely stay here again for any travel or upcoming shows in Poughkeepsie!

Check in was smooth and staff was very friendly. The warm chocolate chip cookies were delicious and welcomed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was relaxing. We were very happy to know the parking garage was included and so convenient being attached to hotel. We loved the proximity to the Walkway Over The Hudson and Alex’s restaurant. We’d definitely stay here again.

I booked an overnight stay to avoid returning to NYC after midnight. I was thankful that it was possible for an early check-in. The rating of 4 stars is based on the rate charged which didn’t even include a continental breakfast yet their chocolate chip cookie is delicious, otherwise I would have probably rated it excellent instead of good.

The lobby smells GREAT, especially by the elevators. This was my second time staying here. I asked the front desk to change a $20 bill so I could give a tip to the housekeeping staff, and they said they didn’t have change (nor did the restaurant)! I’ve never heard of that. I felt terrible to not give the housekeepers a tip (they deserve it and work hard). Bed is comfortable, pillows are great, shower is good too (and toilets have jet-flush).

My daughter was attending the CIA Worldstride event. We drove in from Chicago and stayed there too. Our room had an amazing view of the bridge and the hotel was clean and beautiful. We felt so comfortable staying there. The staff was amazing. I left my makeup bag that contained my glasses on the couch and they were able to ship it me in Illinois.

Staff was wonderful! Room was clean and spacious and parking was included which was really helpful. Only negative was air conditioner wasn’t fully working, even after having maintenance check on it.
