"The room was poorly cleaned on our first day with stained carpets. There was never anyone around at the pool/sauna desk and nobody could explain if the sauna was included or charged so we didn’t use it. Breakfast was reasonable with good choices. A lot of children staying here so better for families I think. I would say that despite being in the four star section, it was more like a three star. No minibar or room service menu. Pool was enjoyable although the hot tub was filled with children so...
"Lovely view over the lake, with easy parking onsite. The staff were super friendly and they were very helpful. The whole hotel is very clean and tidy with everything in good working order. Had a great restaurant onsite. I would stay here again."

"Only 3 months old, everything was new, modern and clean. But the service and meals were exceptional. Full breakfast with creative list of eggs Benedict style options including a local one. The 3 course dinners also included local fare and were excellent. Also full bar with local made schnapps and extensive list of fantastic Slovenian wines. The service was also very efficient, relaxed and friendly so that we could engage the staff in conversation. The setting is a beautiful green farm village next to the local church and a bell tower that pealed throughout the day )but not all night). Hotel is in Sgornje Gorje, a short hike downhill to Lake Bled but far from the crowds around the lake. We were able to hike down to and around Lake Bled and up to the castle and back up to hotel. The area is green, hilly, surrounded by the alps and the sounds of active farms. Very picturesque. "
"Really enjoyed access to aquatic centre on ground floor. Stunning view of Lake from balcony. Ordered room service the first night and it was sensational. Location is good for walking around the lake but slightly tricky if you need to return to the bus station with heavy luggage. Our experience with taxis in Bled was they were hard to find and unreliable. Was left stranded a couple of times and had to walk. Overall though, highly recommend."
"Red house water pressure in shower range of pots, pans, crockery etc in kitchen spacious comfy sofa for chilling parking space quick response to queries, when the toaster broke a sandwich maker was delivered same day as an alternative. Lots of books Traditional alpine wood look and feel If you have allergies then be aware that whilst the surfaces were clean it is a dusty house and the bathroom has mold. The throw cushions and sofa were dirty and smelt of mildew and stale sweat. I washed all of the cushions and aired all of the sofa cushions so it should be better now The downstairs bathroom smells of the drain The mattresses were uncomfortable The dishwasher was broken throughout our stay and couldn’t be fixed The hob fan and light didn’t work, because there is only a single dim bulb in the kitchen it was very difficult to see to use the hob As the house is in the shadow of trees there is almost no direct sunlight We couldn’t find the bbq wifi is pretty bad, but that goes with being out of town and in the mountainsIt could all be sorted if Red House had:- Mattress toppers/ upgrade- Deep clean- Electrics & appliances fixed in kitchen and a new lightbulb & a shade fitted"
