"We were staying as a family of four adults. The location was in a quiet area overlooking the sea in the distance. The accommodation was very specious, clean and well equipped. One bedroom had a small en suite shower and toilet. There was also a bath with overhead shower and toilet in a separate room. We used the apartment as a base, exploring the nearby beaches and villages. The owner had thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable. "Such a lovely little holiday home, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Teg is literally in the middle of nowhere, blink and you’ll miss the turning so make sure you read your email directions. We didn’t! We followed the sites postcode directions which aren’t specific enough. The accommodation is so quaint, lots of lovely blues and Cornish ware China, everything you need to make a cup of tea and coffee and toast and the hosts very kindly left us a cream tea to enjoy when we arrived. "My parents and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this pretty cottage on the grounds of the lovely estate. The cottage is well-equipped, nicely designed, and very comfortable. It is well located for the port towns and cliff tops of the Lizard Peninsula. I recommend a visit to the stunning Minack Theatre - an outdoor theatre built into the cliffs with views across the ocean, as well as the nearby town of Helston. Thank you, Charles!"

"We chose Mannings for a second time due to its brilliant location for the theatre and the major bonus of secure parking. As with our previous visit, the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. They are a real credit to the hotel. Although comfortable and generally clean, the room was basic, and the decor a bit tired. The bathroom layout in particular is quite tight (at only 5'4", my knees were touching the door when using the toilet). The grout and silicone around the bath and shower are in need of a good deep clean or refresh, as inevitably in a well used room with built up moisture, it was grimy and stained. Appropriate allocation of time for a decent deep clean really would make a world of difference here. As a personal preference, it would be great to see improved in-room coffee options beyond standard instant sachets, and we missed the nice little biscuits provided on our first visit! Breakfast was straightforward and did the job well. The fresh croissants were delicious, and my husband was a big fan of the thick, creamy yoghurt. We really appreciate the location and the lovely hospitality from the team, but a bit more attention to room maintenance and the little details would make a big difference to the overall stay."

"Some hotels give you a room. St Michaels Resort gives you a memory. My partner and I spent three wonderful nights here, and St Michaels became more than simply the place where we stayed...it became part of our Falmouth story. There is something special about the atmosphere: beautiful, peaceful and effortlessly welcoming. Everything came together to make our stay feel genuinely memorable, and we left with that rare feeling of wishing we could remain a little longer. I even bought a few pieces of St Michaels merchandise because I wanted to take a small part of the experience home with me. That probably says more than any ordinary five-star review could. Falmouth gave us the scenery, but St Michaels gave the trip its heart. Thank you for hosting a chapter of our lives that we will always remember. We arrived as guests, left as admirers, and will certainly return. Samuel"

"Had a great stay at the Membly! A really wonderful affordable accommodation right by the water! The location is stunning, beautiful views of the water from the lounge area and a quick jaunt to several beaches. The breakfast service was really easy and lovely! Very attentive staff and lots of options. The single/twin bed rooms were good for the price point, nothing to write home about, but very effective and had all the amenities one would need while traveling! The room got a little hot but there was a fan provided which helped remedy that. Easy parking as well and not far at all from the train stop!"
