“We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. ”

“This quaint cottage was perfect for 2 couples. We loved being steps away from the beach and very close to all the amenities in St Ives. The property was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is the parking spot is a distance away because of the old town. So anyone with mobility issues might consider that. There are cabs for hire if needs be. Would recommend, it was perfect for us.”

“Michelle and Kevin were great hosts, really friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. The pod was exceptionally clean and well equipped with tea, coffee biscuits etc. It was in a peaceful location and within walking distance to Carbis Bay and St Ives, with its pretty cobbled streets, bars, restaurants and boat trips. “My parents and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this pretty cottage on the grounds of the lovely estate. The cottage is well-equipped, nicely designed, and very comfortable. It is well located for the port towns and cliff tops of the Lizard Peninsula. I recommend a visit to the stunning Minack Theatre - an outdoor theatre built into the cliffs with views across the ocean, as well as the nearby town of Helston. Thank you, Charles!”
