Nice hotel.

Location: The hotel was a short distance from various things to see and do. Too far to walk.
The room was spacious with modern features. The breakfast room was very large with a large assortment of food choices. Ben, the breakfast server, was very helpful.

Disappointing

Cons: See above comments.
Location: Too far out from downtown or walking distance activities.
We have stayed at Best Westerns in the past and found them to be more than acceptable. This was not the case. Blankets were old and worn. Room left a feeling of 'unclean'. Worried all night about all the negative possibilities. Would not stay there again. Also, very difficult to get in and out of the parking area to go into the town area.

Thank you for sharing a few details regarding your recent experience at Best Western Prescottonian. I am sorry to hear about your overall disappointment with your visit. I apologize that there was an issue with the housekeeping and have asked my Housekeeping supervisor look into the issue. Our bedding consists of triple sheeting with a comforter or duvet in most of our rooms so I was surprised when I read your comments about worn blankets. Granted we are an older property but cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us. We have a very detailed inspection process and double check each room before releasing it to be rented. Your constructive comments tell me that somebody is not doing their job checking rooms, which is unacceptable and I promise to deal with this immediately. Thank you once again for your candid and constructive feedback. I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience.

Good location - Big, quiet room

Pros: On Sunday nite, it was quiet. The room was spacious and clean. The beds and linens were very nice.
Cons: Add Recycling to your rooms... or the Property somewhere.
Location: Downtown Prescott - Courthouse center has huge green space all around. People congregate there. Shops and Restaurants surround this area.
We had a very nice stay here. They have a Mexican restaurant on site - it was very good. The room was clean, on the quiet end of the property and everything was clean. They have a nice looking, smaller sized swimming pool. It's placed to the front of the property, so if the kids are swimming, they aren't right in other people's rooms - audibly. It is an older property, but very well maintained. The price was great. They are listed as pet friendly... and had a large pet area in back that is easy access. Just a mile or so from Prescott Courthouse Square and easy access. And a complimentary Breakfast Buffet that was nicer than most Hampton Inn, etc type breakfasts.

Thank you very much for your wonderful review and for choosing to stay with us. We are glad to hear that you found the room to be clean & comfortable and our staff friendly & accommodating. Although we are an older motel, we are always looking for ways to renew, refresh and update our property. Your suggestion about the recycling is appreciated. We do not have to place our recycling in separate bins. Our waste disposal company sorts all garbage at a transfer station and separates out all recyclable waste. It is a great benefit and I am really surprised that more disposal companies aren't using this system. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope to see you again on your next visit to Prescott.

Good value

Pros: Good value and great staff. Clean and quiet.
Location: The hotel is in close proximity to many attractions in Prescott. Lots to do and see and plenty of great places to eat nearby.
The Prescottonian is nice place to stay with all of the basic amenities, great free breakfast, and excellent staff.

A good place to stay.

Pros: Convenient. Just a mile from downtown Prescott, with no turns. Just straight down Gurley St.
Cons: Anything can be improved. But for what we paid, this was a deal. And nothing was bad or went wrong.
Location: Not far from downtown Prescott. Lots to do there.
Enjoyable, peaceful, clean stay. Great shower. Good pillows. Great shower. Good hot breakfast (free). Also next to a good Mexican restaurant. Would stay there again.

Geocaching in Prescott

Pros: Staff was excellent and one of the best breakfasts of this type I have had.
Cons: They could have a maintenance man on site until later in the evening. We check in about 6PM and no one was on staff who could look at the air.
Location: Museum, Jerome is near, Mingus mountain.
Would have been 5 star except the air conditioner struggled to work properly. It would not turn on when the demand temperature was met but when it was more than the temp it would turn on. Then it would not turn off until the room was very cold. Notified the desk.

Convenient

Quick check-in and breakfast was good.....wished that they allowed food to be taken to room as wife enjoys breakfast in bed while traveling.
