The rooms were gorgeous and clean. The restaurant upstairs was great. The staff were so nice. The whole vibe of the hotel was so great. Real Mexican style not a cookie cutter hotel. Loved every part of it!

Lots of potential: close to the downtown square, restaurants and other points of interest. The restaurant in the premises is good, but a bit noisy. So if you are not eating there, the noise level is high.
Loved the colonial atmosphere and look to Al Otro Lado. The receptionist, Sheyla, was very friendly and helpful. The staff was nice and helpful. The unaffiliated restaurant in front is good, but a bit noisy during business hours, so if you want more privacy, ask for a room around the back patio.
Nice people. Old convent converted rooms. Very nice. Comfortable beds and linens. Rooftop restaurant noisy some not all nights but lots of sound in Mexico. Neighborhood always felt safe and great weekend market across the street. Clean water morning coffee for 20 pesos. All good
It's a pretty hotel in a good location. The staff were helpful. Our room was large. The hot water was slow to come in. It took 10 minutes and then was only lukewarm. The television would turn off unexpectedly and was not reliable.

The hotel has character and its quiet. We were checked in on ground floor so its convenient for luggage. The courtyard layout is interestijg. Easy to walk to zocalo where there r plenty restaurant options and easy to browse main market.
The downside is the doors r not shut completely so cold air gets in. I imagine it will be great in summer.
But the shower is far from ideal. The water is super scorching hot and u cant adjust to somewhere in between even if u turn on a little of the cold tap. We took it for only one day and its because we r enroute to cholula and hot air balloon.
Hi ALL,
Couple of recommendation for this hotel future quests :
1. Show the address - hotel for some reason has two names and this could be confusing for drivers.
2. Because hotel personnel at the counter speak zero English prepare basic phrasis in Spanish to survive conversation
3. Get ready to pay extra fees for cleaning. I paid around 30 US dollars. No charges are well - explained. I have a very poor Spanish so I was not ready to argue with them. Either you have a good Spanish and negotiation skills or you pay extra.
4. Location: 15 min walk from the historic center. Reasonable for this price range.
5. Music from the local restaurant located on the roof of the hotel. Could get pretty annoying
6. No AC. In hot weather + 30 C could become challenging to stay in the room
7. Poor water running - toilet flush was bad. But it's Mexico. Get ready :(

My second stay and this hotel is in a quiet area, clean, great courtyard to sit in, internet was great, shower was hot and easy 6 minute walk to Zocalo and many restaurants.
Not great for holiday, just fine for quick stay. Parking is not in the property, it is close but it is need it to the staff to open the gate, at night is not ideal.
Hotel have several not hotel restaurantes inside the hotel and they are too loud. Again, not for holiday only for quick stay.
Very pintoresque!! Being a restored building but in a very charming way, makes this place unique!
A restaurant is in the property but is not part of the hotel, limited parking but walking distance to downtown.
The first night at the lavanda room was super noisy when people knock the fron door in the middle of the night, for the second night I ask for a fan so the little noise of the fan doesnt let other noises in, and had a perfect night sleep.

It’s a former convent and it’s really peaceful and quiet. The property has great seating areas to relax. This is in someways a trip to old Mexico. The colors of the buildings are amazing and very calming. Great staff, hot shower, fast internet and very secure. Within a short distance are many restaurants, bars and cafes.
The Zocalo is 6 minutes away. Close but far enough away. This is now my choice when I come to Puebla.

Clean but very small room especially the bathroom. There were many small mosquitoes in the room, although they were not bad, it was annoying to see them all the time in the room.
There’s a restaurant in the same building and the noise is very loud especially Friday night and Saturday
