I realize some of the problems I have with this location was lack of knowledge about Sayulita. My wife and I where there for a wedding and had previously never heard of the place. First off it’s ridiculously humid and hot so it would be nice to come into a room that’s cool. Well that’s not the case when the air conditioning unit is motion sensitive and turns off when no one is there. Secondly indoor outdoor living is very popular there, again it’s extremely hot and humid so I don’t understand this you can’t enjoy the out door area to cook relax etc. For reference I’m from South Carolina I thought I knew humidity but this is on another level even the locals are sweating. The unit it’s self was a mixed bag of cleanliness. The sink, toilet, mirror, and shower for the most part looked pretty clean. However there where spider webs in multiple places, stains on the towels, sheets, pillows and mattress cover. To be fair one of our friends there for the wedding was in a much more expensive place and I noticed their towels had stains on them to. Probably a Sayulita thing. Lastly bugs lots of bugs they where costantly crawling along our floor. We killed two huge roaches multiple spiders and other various bugs. Additionally the shower is a terrible. It looks nice but much to small for its design. No glass so water gets all over the toilet, toilet paper and floor. Plus there’s quite a bit of calcification so several of the holes don’t shoot out water. Simply not what we expected. Oh and one more thing at the time we where there we where the only tenants in the complex. There’s a community upper deck with a pool and outdoor kitchen seating and limited views of the ocean. Im not sure if that’s was supposed to be included with our rental but if it was it was completely trashed.
