A few things they could improve: - Parasol on the swimming pool could be bigger, and there is not enough shade overall. - I would have appreciated more local cured meat and cheese at breakfast. - Lunch and dinner are not worth the price consodering many other local eateries nearby with better value for money and choice."

"Do not stay at New Barcavela under any circumstance. We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, and it completely ruined our trip. The property is severely unhygienic and heavily infested with cockroaches; we found them crawling in the bathroom, making the space entirely unusable. Furthermore, the hotel is a consumer scam. "Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean, and the pool area excellent – a great place to relax with plenty of space and comfortable surroundings. The breakfast offered a good selection and was a great way to start the day.
