"I was highly impressed with my recent stay here this past weekend. I gifted my husband a getaway for Valentine day and I’m glad I chose Savannah. At first I was a little worried because I like to read some of the negative reviews. I have to say none were true!! First we were treated by the friendliest staff Jeff and their SUPER friendly kitty. We got there late for check-in, but he was pleasant and helped us with a quick check-in. We had the suite and let me tell you it was spotless. I have stayed in many 5-star hotels throughout Canada, Europe and many states in the U.S, and their place was the cleanest I have seen. There was nothing needed. There was a full kitchenette, fridge(that worked), dining table (with wine glasses), 2 TV’s, a super clean bathroom, a big hot tub, plenty of towels, a cute little fireplace, a couch, and balcony. Smelled nice! You get amazing views of the lake from the suite which is one that 2nd floor. I honestly can’t say if it’s the same from the lower rooms. The only thing that was missing was an ironing board & iron. Perhaps I missed it, but it wasn’t a big deal. My husband who is a hotel connoisseur (joking) even gave compliments on how clean it was here and even wants to come back. "Was a beautiful property with a great view of the lake. Steep driveway to the house, but street level parking and easy access to a dock for fishing, etc. This would be a beautiful spot for a summer vacation."

Here are some tips:Bring silverware there is a mini frig and microwave, but no silverware not even plastic, no continental breakfast, the restaurant was closed in April. Bring food or drive into town. No housekeeping in April , no information in the room, so find out where to get ice and more coffee packets ahead of time. Be car"
