First, I want to say that the staff were excellent and very responsive to the issues I had with the room.
When I arrived and went to my room it was 77 degrees in the room, with the temperature set at 63. Clearly the air conditioning was not working properly. I went downstairs to talk with staff, and they seemed aware that it did not work properly and saying the corner room always gets too hot. They brought a fan to sit on the register and had to be on the entire time to keep the room at a still warm 72 degrees.
My first night of sleep I was woken up by a random blinking light above my head. I Initially did not know what it was. When I turned on the light at 1:30 am I noticed it was the smoke alarm. Blinking randomly all night. The next morning, I again when down to talk to the staff. Again, they seemed to be aware of the issue because when I said blinking light kept me up, they said, "oh yes, the smoke alarm". Someone came and put a piece of tape on it which dulled it slightly, but not completely. I also was wondering how they put it on without stepping on the bed.
The last night I was there I had come in early to get ready for leaving in the morning. I tried to have the TV on, but for every channel it said the channel was not available. I called down to the front desk and was told that she would have to go and reset the system. It was fixed immediately.
For the money I spent I should not have had to deal with any of these issues.
