This was on of the worst “stays” I’ve ever experienced. We arrived with a reservation only to find the hotel was overbooked. The night clerk was untrained and had no idea how to fix it, so we got shoved into a cheaper room with no discount and told to talk to managers in the morning. The room looked abandoned. The carpet in the hall was held down with duct tape, wallpaper was peeling and there was no shower curtain., so the bathroom double as a splash zone. The water took 20 minutes to get hot, and the tub didn’t drain so I was basically standing in a swamp. I ended up washing my hair from outside the shower. The floor was so filthy it turned my feet black. The room reeked of cigarettes, I felt like I was sleeping in an ashtray and even had an allergic reaction. The TV was a museum piece with jacks for RCA cables and only powered on. By morning, no manager was available. The staff tried but it didn’t matter. I wouldn’t have stayed even if the room was free. I have seen cleaner park benches. We left early and paid for a hotel nearby, money well spent just to feel like we were back in civilization. The photos of this place must be extremely outdated or heavily filtered because what’s advertised and what you get are two different realities. It’s honestly misleading at best, deceptive at worst. Overall this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for cleanliness, comfort or even the basic level of competence, do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else!

Meals are expensive.

First, I want to say that the staff were excellent and very responsive to the issues I had with the room. When I arrived and went to my room it was 77 degrees in the room, with the temperature set at 63. Clearly the air conditioning was not working properly. I went downstairs to talk with staff, and they seemed aware that it did not work properly and saying the corner room always gets too hot. They brought a fan to sit on the register and had to be on the entire time to keep the room at a still warm 72 degrees. My first night of sleep I was woken up by a random blinking light above my head. I Initially did not know what it was. When I turned on the light at 1:30 am I noticed it was the smoke alarm. Blinking randomly all night. The next morning, I again when down to talk to the staff. Again, they seemed to be aware of the issue because when I said blinking light kept me up, they said, "oh yes, the smoke alarm". Someone came and put a piece of tape on it which dulled it slightly, but not completely. I also was wondering how they put it on without stepping on the bed. The last night I was there I had come in early to get ready for leaving in the morning. I tried to have the TV on, but for every channel it said the channel was not available. I called down to the front desk and was told that she would have to go and reset the system. It was fixed immediately. For the money I spent I should not have had to deal with any of these issues.
