"The property is close to downtown La Fortuna. It's right off the main road, which I loved. There's a security guard at the gate at all times. This made us feel safe. The rooms were spacious and fully stocked with bathroom toiletries, minie fridge and coffee maker. No microwave however. The breakfast was buffet style with many fruit options and pastries. It also had an omelet station. We enjoyed it very much. The whirlpool hot tub was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We truly felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay very much. I highly recommend staying here when in town."

We also loved how close the hotel is to town. It was just a short drive to great restaurants, shops, and activities, yet still felt secluded and quiet. From the beautiful grounds to the attentive staff and excellent amenities, Lomas del Volcán exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay near Arenal!"

"We had a quick stop in La Fotuna, but Secreto hotel was the perfect stay. So close to eveything. The rooms were nice and clean and Fabrizio who greeted us was spectacular! The grounds are very beautiful and the breakfast was great. "

"This property was amazing! The staff is so wonderful and made our stay extra special. We enjoyed the hot springs and all of the tours at the property. Bryan made any and ALL requests so easy, and Reuben took us on a hike and horse back riding trip and they were perfect. We felt a sense of exploration and relaxation all at times. The town of chachaugua is only a short distance away and had a fantastic little soda with pizza and empanadas, and a ice cream shop that had $1 ice cream… I cannot say enough about how special this hotel and staff is. We 100% would return and recommend. "
