“Overall, the place was nice and had everything I needed. They didn’t know I booked on Vrbo, but I think that was because it was their first time listing on it so were not used to checking it. Once they looked, everything was sorted out right away.Next to a indoor soccer gym so noises until around 11 PM, but then got quiet.”

“It is a lovely apartment with an incredible view. As it is part of a hotel, one can have all the amenities, like room service or a restaurant in-house, where one can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the lower ground floor there is also a bar. It is right on the lake, where one can swim. There is also a pool. It is a 5 min drive away from the town Panajachel, where again, one has a lot of shops and more restaurants. The owner/host was very helpful in giving us names of operators, who can……

“Communication with the host was easy and the property was clean and comfortable.”

“It is set out as a Luxury apartment but can't really qualify as such. It is nice, but quite noisy as it is right next to a restaurant with live music. Also quite smelly from all the restaurants' grey water just flowing into the lake outside the windows. The bathroom is also very damp with mold on the walls. Everything else was good though, and the hosts were very responsive.”

“Awesome private home hidden right in the middle of Panajachel. We loved the spacious interior and the fact that everything was so peaceful in the evenings yet within walking distance to everything. ”

“There was cockroaches, it says fit up to eight people but beds only for 4, one bed impossible to use, I paid for two nights but stay only for one and left, parking is another payment extra because offer parking included but payment is required and is 100 meters away hard to carry luggage ”

“Overall extremely poor. Construction littered the property, loud bangs and tools served as an alarm clock at 6am until the afternoon. Check in took long as the Vrbo listing address takes you very far from where the house actually is and communication proved to be difficult as well. Also lack of direction with garbage leading to a strong odor”
