Find Somewhere ElsePosted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: The bed was OK and the towels were good.
Cons: Staff could learn how to smile and care for their customers.
Location: Nothing to do in this town.
I was extremely disappointed with this place. Should be called Americas Worst Value Inn. The service was terrible and the place is very run down. There were flies in the room buzzing around me and when I asked for some spray to kill them, I was told that they don't have any. No offer of any assistance was offered. For the price, I expected a little more. Don't stay here. Find something else.

Great valuePosted Sep 28, 2015
If you just want a clean place to stay at an affordable price then this will work. For the price, I can't find anything negative to say about this place.

Stay in Trinidad....Posted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: Hotel staff, close to freeway.
Cons: Decor, upgrade the tv
Location: Convenient to freeway. Bad restaurants.
I guess if Trinidad is all booked up, this place - for the price- will suffice. It's an old, slightly musty motel in need of an overhaul. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was comfortable enough, though the ancient tv had horrendous reception and the fridge and alarm clock were both unplugged (LOL.) What probably hurts this hotel more than anything is the horrid selection of local restaurants- look at Yelp for some good laughs. I tried Mulligan's just down the street and was 'treated' to one of the most wretched meals I have ever consumed.

交通の要所にある安い宿Posted Aug 19, 2015

Met our needsPosted Aug 10, 2015
This was a stopover stay on our trip from Colorado back home to Texas. Didn't need lots of amenities, just a place to sleep. From the exterior, it's a bit sketchy. But the rooms are huge and the bathrooms are clean and updated. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast in a small dining room.

Big, clean rooms but looks shabby from the outsidePosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Size of rooms and cleanliness
Cons: fix the pool, the parking lot and upgrade the outside
Location: It's mostly a pass through area on your way to other things.
When we drove by we were about to cancel our reservation because the outside looked so sketchy. The parking lot is in terrible shape and the swimming pool is broken down. The outside of the building looks very old and worn. But we were too late to cancel so we had to go in. Once we were inside we were pleasantly surprised by the large, clean rooms and friendly staff. We had rooms in the luxury hall, so I don't know what the regular rooms were like. But, for the price, this place was really worth a stay. The free breakfast was poor, but the restaurant attached to the hotel had very good food.

On our way to Colorado, Childress was a stop-over on a long drive. The hotel suites our needs.

Great ValuePosted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Large pillow top mattress, newer shower and sink.
Cons: No improvements required.
Location: GREAT FOURTH of July Fireworks display - small town atmosphere with big city fireworks. People are very friendly.
This was a large clean room, newer bath and sink, with fridge and microwave. Bed was newer (July 2015) and very comfortable, "pillow top" mattress I believe. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

My room was nice. But not the bathroom for handicaps. To small. I was suppose to have coffee in the room but not I only had decaf. Yugh. But the room was quite and slept good.

Not America's best valuePosted Jul 1, 2015
Cons: Cleaner bedding. Get rid of stale odors.
For $77.00 I was expecting a "Best Western" type hotel. Instead, it reminded me of the $5.00 flop houses I used to stay in when I was in my twenties. The rooms were small, and had such an odor that I was unable to eat the snacks I had brought along. Thank God there was a Denny's near by--the only redeeming feature about this hotel.
