2/5 - Disappointing
We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant less than a mile away from where we stayed it was recommend their were eight of us not one liked it!

This is an older hotel that has had a major update. Room was very comfortable and clean with all the usual amenities. We had been staying elsewhere in Raton for a number of years and decided to make a change. We are happy we made the change. The restaurant is also great.

Very clean place with comfortable beds and good staff however they do not serve anything close to breakfast it’s cold cereal yogurt hard bagels and dry donuts it’s not at all what would be considered continental breakfast at all, no eggs sausage or bacon every other hotel/motel that advertises breakfast ...

Great place to stop on the way to the Rocky Mountains from Texas
We drove thought Raton. It is an old town and not a whole lot seems to have been updated. There are buildings boarded up downtown, a few small cafes that serve breakfast lunch and dinner. There is a McDonald's close to the interstate.
Ate at K-BOB’s, salad bar is outstanding, steak was just so-so, no taste, but the beer is way overpriced. $5.00 a bottle for a Shiner Bock! I stopped at a gas station across the street on the way back and bought a six-pack for less than $9.00.
beautiful lights for christmas
Sad to see the current state of my hometown, but it is, and will always be home.
