The staff was super sweet. Wasn’t as clean as you would want. But it served its purpose.

Expensive for the quality of the property. Food was poor and took a long time to arrive. Server Phyllis was great. Front desk people were very polite.

Out host was present when we arrived to greet us. He made sure we could get in and everything was to our satisfaction. We had a little problem with the WiFi, but he was very responsive and got us straightened out quickly. We were very comfortable in the unit with plenty of space to relax.

Great place to stop on the way to the Rocky Mountains from Texas
We drove thought Raton. It is an old town and not a whole lot seems to have been updated. There are buildings boarded up downtown, a few small cafes that serve breakfast lunch and dinner. There is a McDonald's close to the interstate.
Ate at K-BOB’s, salad bar is outstanding, steak was just so-so, no taste, but the beer is way overpriced. $5.00 a bottle for a Shiner Bock! I stopped at a gas station across the street on the way back and bought a six-pack for less than $9.00.
beautiful lights for christmas
Sad to see the current state of my hometown, but it is, and will always be home.
