When they finally came back after 10-15 minutes, the desk person did not greet us or other guests or apologize for the delay.Also, I was not expecting a parking charge, which should have been clear when the reservation was made on Expedia. I wouldnt mind so much if the receptionist had been friendly, but then when we handed him the card, it came up as $100 with no explanation...I had to ask if this was correct and why $100\. I felt he should have explained in advance that this was a hold and would be returned. He handed the key...no direction to the elevator or room. No thank you...nothing. Definitely not a pleasant experience. Later in the evening when we came back through, he was still there. No greeting or facial expression. Not the best person for the position! And coffee was not hot this morning at breakfast... Im usually very pleased with Hampton Inn, but won't choose this one again. There are plenty of others here by this airport. We have family within a mile of here and are here several times a year.
