Not a bad hotel. Rooms are not very sound proof. Not many amenities but good size rooms and price.

Clean hotel in Virginia

Pros: Clean quiet and friendly staff
Cons: Turn heat down in hallways
Location: convenient to 95, close to 150 and Richmond
This was a very pleasant place to stay. I would stay here again.

I got a good rate on this room, so right away all I could think is ,"too good to be true?" Well, yes and no. First of all, it is an old building in a area that could be seen as up and coming. It is across from a McDonald's, convenient. Close to the freeway, depending on where your headed. The place has been freshly renovated, but only in a paint and decor sense. The overall bathroom fixtures and shower seem original. Not too shabby, but my shower had a large crack and there was a stain on the ceiling above the sink. The carpeting seemed new, tiling original. The shower also took some time to heat up. I slept okay, there was a lot of old door slamming that woke me up earlier than I wanted and faint train noises during the night. I got the rest I needed.

Quick one night stay

I needed this hotel for less than 12 hours as I had an interview very early in the morning. I had two issues with this hotel. One of the rags provided had some stains on it. The pet hair in the chair and on the comforter was also a bit of problem since I am allergic to cats. It is a pet friendly hotel so I assume that is to be expected. For my needs it was ok, but watch out if you're allergic to animals.

Nightmare at hotel, good service by Hotels.com

Was a complete mess the way this location was unable to so much as check me in or verify accept hotels.com payment/reservation. Night auditor stated systems were down and she could not check me in unless i had cash? Really? She eventually relented and allowed me to get a room by taking down my CC information. (told her i was very upset and unable to drive any longer due to being up extended hrs) So i eventually get a very short stay, due to checkout time, and get the bill. Later i find out that they never communicated or even bothered to try and use the hotels.com to get paid. they had charged direct. SO the whole fiasco was a burn, by also being charged by both parties- not hotels.com's fault, but the HOTEL i stayed at. You were able to refund my initial charge quickly, and i applaud you all for a fast resolution. My advice- call up that manager. This was a horrid experience at their location trying to check in and being told i could not in fact check in, systems were down. No communication from night to day auditor or failure of day auditor to follow up.

Very good except nightshift sleeping and took me 45 min to wake someone up because my room key wouldnt work after pulling 24 hour shift (snow removal)

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Front desk personable. Parking lot slick and wet.
