"The home is on a finger of Claytor Lake, which was quiet and out of the wind. It is eclectic with kitchen on bottom level and living room area on the second level. You can access both levels independently from the driveway. Overall, comfortable for our needs given the weather wasn't great but we were in town for graduation."

"Serenity House worked well for our family during VT's spring 2024 graduation. The property is located on a quiet, no wake zone, knob of Claytor Lake. It was the perfect place for fishing and swimming. The home was appropriately advertised. Both the home and decking are older but clean and tidy. "We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our daughter's graduation from VCOM. We rented both Claytor Escape and Green Cape Cottage. We enjoyed the kayak, paddle boards and swimming off the dock. The house was clean and well-stocked. Check in was easy and the host was very responsive. And - the front porch of Claytor Escape is wonderful!"

"What a peaceful place to visit. Wonderful views of the river, which was mere steps from the house. Had everything we needed for a quiet getaway Thanksgiving. My husband, son and dog enjoyed exploring the river and nearby train tracks. An afternoon at VT was a short drive away. Will be back with our kayaks for warm summer fun. Thanks Frank!"

"Very nicely renovated single wide trailer. No detail was overlooked in the renovation and decorating. High end cabinets, flooring, great lighting, and even an iPhone charger was appreciated. For the area, it’s a little expensive compared to other rentals in MOD. Private setting, although there was some traffic coming through the shared driveway. It was very clean but I did find a few false eyelashes throughout the home and the fridge didn’t look like it had been wiped out. I would visit more...

The outside areas were wonderful as well- all ages enjoyed the games and activities provided by the hosts:) The property is stunning and a perfect place to unwind and relax.
